Truth And Reconciliation Week
Reconciliation means having peace with something it means to not battle out for things and finding compromise. There were 150 thousand! Indegeninous kids abused and beaten . They tried to take them away from their culture and homes. They weren’t allowed to speak their language or practice their culture and they wouldn’t be able to see their parents either. The last one closed in only 1966! So the Canadian Government is trying to reconcile with the Indgenous People . The Canadian Government is putting more money into indegenous reserves . Also, for things like more education and clean drinking water . I hope we will find Reconciliation.
